As I posted last night, I’ve made the decision to make the loom to size, rather than wrapping excess wiring inside the loom tape. The biggest benefit is it that I can place components where I want them, and remove excess cables.
Each of the wires in main head loom has been cut to length and soldered then covered with heat shrink.
Although I still have a lot to do, the difference is quite clear…
…but the old loom join points for multiple connections are still there and I need to decide if I’m going to leave them in, or create new groups for all of these. My preference is to remove them, but I need to decide if its better to pull it all back to one new bundle, or split them into smaller groups.
