Some time ago I updated this website to say the SVA was to be attempted again. This was successful and immediately after the car appeared on Edges stand at the kit car show in Exeter. It took a few months but eventually the car was successfully imported into the Netherlands and was given a Dutch registration.
I spent a season driving around in her and then decided to upgrade the engine with an Audi S2 engine I had purchased, this was started in 2009 but was put on hold pretty soon afterwards due to my divorce. Buttercup as she is now known went into storage in the Netherlands while more important things took my focus. At last at the end of 2011 buttercup joined me in England and a few weeks ago we removed the bodyshell ready to take up the challenge again of getting her back on the road.
